Description
This week students will dive into cosmetology by blending creativity with simple STEM concepts. Through hands-on projects, they will test ideas, build skills, and see how science plays a role in everyday beauty.
Monday (June 22nd) – Introduction to Nail Care
- Students will be introduced to the basics of nail care and nail art. They will learn about nail tools, materials, hygiene, and safety while getting comfortable with the nail funtology kits and how to use them properly.
Tuesday (June 23rd) – Nail Care Skills Practice
- Students will practice foundational nail care techniques using their kits. They will focus on shaping, cleaning, and preparing nails, while building control, consistency, and attention to detail.
Wednesday (June 24th) – Nail Art and Design
- Students will explore simple nail art techniques using their kits. The focus will be on creativity, neat application, and how small technique changes can affect the final design.
Thursday (June 25th) – Create Your Own Style
- Students will apply what they have learned to create their own styles. They will plan, test, and adjust their ideas while expressing creativity.
Friday (June 26th) – Showcase Day
- Students will share their work and take part in fun wrap-up activities to celebrate everything they learned throughout the week.
