Digital Promotoras in Fall 2026 will focus on environment and movement.



Living in LA, our summer lasts well into autumn and our winters are short-lived. We see destructive fires roaming through our communities. The lack of rain leaves us stranded in drought and continues to hurt the biodiversity that California is known for. Meanwhile, corporations and governments downplay their responsibility on climate change and neglect the environmental impacts especially on the marginalized communities.

In this class, we will go on field trips to learn about the devastation that climate change is bringing to our communities, as well as hear from 🔗Polo’s Pantry* to learn about the power of local advocacy.
