Legacy Disciple is proud to engage Chicago's youth and families through programs that strive to be trauma-informed and prioritize the mental health of our communities. Facilitated by Legacy's clinical advisory team, these monthly trainings are exist to impart you with necessary skills to interact with youth, families, and all community members in an empathic, trauma-informed, and ultimately, Christ-like manner. Topics will include mental health, trauma, diversity, communication skills, and more. These trainings are mandatory for everyone who works directly with youth through Brotherhood & Sisterhood Mentoring Network, Hood Heroes, Thriving Minds, and any other program of Legacy Disciple, but they are open to all members of our community!
