Description
MESQUITE FRIENDS: I wanted to take a minute and share a new class I am teaching at the STEAM Center. It will be for girls ages 10 - 15. Some of the highlights will be:
*Home Alone - Babysitting Safety
*walking Alone Safety
*Internet and Social Media Safety
*Social and Dating Safety
*Building Confidence from Inside Out
*Basic Self Defense Foundations
With all the news of human trafficking, girls being targeted etc. I want to use my Law Enforcement background to teach girls how to be aware of their surroundings and what types of behaviors predators look for. We live on I-15 which is a corridor freeway from Mexico to Canada.
Please pass on this information. The class starts April 15 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. It will last 4 weeks. There is no charge for the class.
