Afterschool BattleBots — Fall Session 1

Description

Design, build, and battle your own robot — then rebuild it better. Afterschool BattleBots is our weekly combat robotics program: students learn mechanical design, drive systems, and the engineering cycle of testing, breaking, and improving, with head-to-head arena battles every Monday. It's engineering with a scoreboard. No experience needed.

SCHEDULE: Mondays 4:30–6:30 PM at 113 Liberty Street.

FALL SESSION 1: September 14 – November 2, 2026 (6 classes; no class Sept 21 or Oct 12). Session 2 (Nov 9 – Dec 14) opens for enrollment later this fall.

PRICING: $165 per 6-week session. Small group capped at 10 — every builder gets real bench time. Scholarships are available — apply at newburghcreates.com.

REFUND POLICY: Full refund (minus card processing fees) for cancellations made 7 or more days before the session starts. Within 7 days of the start: 50% refund or full credit toward another program. No refunds after the session begins, but you may transfer your registration or receive credit any time before the start date. If a hardship comes up, contact us — we'll work with you.
