Art Lab: Art Journaling — Fall Session 1

Description

An art journal is a sketchbook, scrapbook, and diary all in one — a place where anything goes. In Art Journaling, students build and fill journals of their own: drawing, painting, collage, found papers, lettering, and mixed-media experiments, one spread at a time. Along the way they pick up composition, color, and the habit of making something every week. Everyone leaves with a journal full of their own work — and the skills to keep it going.

Art Journaling is part of Art Lab, our weekday after-school art series with Hanna — take one day or stack it with Printmaking (Tuesdays) and Paper Mache (Wednesdays).

SCHEDULE: Thursdays 3:30–5:00 PM at 113 Liberty Street.

FALL SESSION 1: September 17 – October 22, 2026 (6 classes). Session 2 (Oct 29 – Dec 10) opens for enrollment later this fall.

PRICING: $145 per 6-week session, all materials included. Small group capped at 10. Scholarships are available — apply at newburghcreates.com.

REFUND POLICY: Full refund (minus card processing fees) for cancellations made 7 or more days before the session starts. Within 7 days of the start: 50% refund or full credit toward another program. No refunds after the session begins, but you may transfer your registration or receive credit any time before the start date. If a hardship comes up, contact us — we'll work with you.
