Art Lab: Paper Mache — Fall Session 1

Description

Paper mache is proof that newspaper, paste, and a good idea can become almost anything. In Paper Mache, students design and build sculptures layer by layer — shaping forms, mixing paste, building up strength, and painting their finished pieces. Projects grow from small creatures to bold masks and big builds over the six weeks. Everyone leaves with sculptures they made from scratch.

Paper Mache is part of Art Lab, our weekday after-school art series with Hanna — take one day or stack it with Printmaking (Tuesdays) and Art Journaling (Thursdays).

SCHEDULE: Wednesdays 3:30–5:00 PM at 113 Liberty Street.

FALL SESSION 1: September 16 – October 21, 2026 (6 classes). Session 2 (Oct 28 – Dec 16) opens for enrollment later this fall.

PRICING: $145 per 6-week session, all materials included. Small group capped at 10. Scholarships are available — apply at newburghcreates.com.

REFUND POLICY: Full refund (minus card processing fees) for cancellations made 7 or more days before the session starts. Within 7 days of the start: 50% refund or full credit toward another program. No refunds after the session begins, but you may transfer your registration or receive credit any time before the start date. If a hardship comes up, contact us — we'll work with you.
