Description
CITYLab is a hands-on summer camp for curious creators ages 7–14 who love to design, build, and imagine better communities. Campers step into the role of architects, city planners, coders, and storytellers as they reimagine what future cities could look like—both physically and digitally.
Throughout the week, students will:
- Explore core urban planning ideas like zoning, green space, and accessibility
- Build physical models of neighborhoods using LEGO®, cardboard, and art supplies
- Use coding platforms like Scratch, Minecraft, and Roblox Studio to animate, simulate, and tell stories
- Work together to design and present a complete community
- Share their final creations at a fun and festive “Block Party” showcase
CITYLab blends design thinking, creativity, and basic tech skills in an inclusive, imagination-driven environment. No experience is required—just an open mind and a love of creative challenges.
