Description
FIRST Tech Challenge is an advanced global robotics program where students take on real-world engineering challenges through hands-on design, coding, and problem-solving. Teams work together to design, build, and program custom robots using metal parts, advanced sensors, and modern electronics to compete in themed missions on a field of play.
At Newburgh Creates, our FTC team pushes creativity, collaboration, and technical skills to the next level as students step into the world of engineering and innovation. Each season includes:
- Robot Design & Build using aluminum parts, motors, sensors, and microcontrollers
- Programming & Control in Java or block coding with advanced strategies
- Engineering Notebooks to document the design process and showcase innovative thinking
- Competitions & Alliances where teams collaborate and compete at regional events
No prior experience is required—just curiosity, persistence, and a passion for building real-world solutions!
