Description
GAMELab is a two-week summer experience where kids ages 9–14 become game designers, coders, and creative storytellers. Campers will explore what makes a game fun and functional while learning how to build their own games from the ground up using Scratch and Roblox Studio.
Throughout the camp, students will:
- Learn core principles of game design like storytelling, logic, and playability
- Build 2D games using Scratch and create 3D worlds in Roblox Studio
- Test and refine their ideas through collaboration and feedback
- Present their final projects at a family-friendly showcase at week’s end
Whether your child dreams of designing games or just wants to understand how their favorite ones are made, GAMELab provides a safe, structured, and engaging space to explore.
What to Expect:
- Morning Session (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Learn how games work and build playable 2D games in Scratch
- Afternoon Session (1:30 – 3:30 PM): Create immersive 3D experiences in Roblox Studio and test multiplayer features
No prior experience is needed—just creativity and a willingness to try new things.
