Homeschool BUILDLab — Fall Session 1

Description

You handle the reading and math. We'll bring the ink, the cardboard, and the power tools. Homeschool BUILDLab is the daytime, homeschool edition of our flagship making program — students sketch, prototype, and build real objects, with studio art folded in along the way — in a working studio with a consistent group of peers. Two instructors run every session: Hanna leads art and design, Dave leads the build. The group is multi-age by design, and siblings are welcome to enroll together.

SCHEDULE: Thursday mornings 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at 113 Liberty Street. Drop-off, with a waiting area for parents who'd rather stay.

FALL SESSION 1: September 17 – October 22, 2026 (6 classes). Session 2 (Oct 29 – Dec 10) opens for enrollment later this fall.

PRICING: $165 per 6-week session. Pair it with Homeschool ROBOLab on Tuesdays and enroll in both — we'll credit $30 back, making the two-day week $300. Small multi-age group capped at 10. Scholarships are available — apply at newburghcreates.com.

Many families count BUILDLab hours toward art and technology enrichment in their IHIP — we're happy to describe program activities for your quarterly reports.

REFUND POLICY: Full refund (minus card processing fees) for cancellations made 7 or more days before the session starts. Within 7 days of the start: 50% refund or full credit toward another program. No refunds after the session begins, but you may transfer your registration or receive credit any time before the start date. If a hardship comes up, contact us — we'll work with you.
