Description
Learn the history of a block of old Newburgh, then rebuild it in Minecraft. The Newburgh Project, headed by Ember Beeler and sponsored by Newburgh Creates, is rebuilding the city as it stood before Urban Renewal tore down more than 1,300 buildings in the 1960s and 1970s. In each class, students learn the history of one block, then build it together in Minecraft.
SCHEDULE: Every other Thursday, 6:00–7:30 PM at 113 Liberty Street.
DROP-IN DATES: October 29, November 12, December 3 and December 17, 2026.
PRICING: $35 per class. You pay $35 when you register for your first class, then $35 for each additional class you attend. The full 4-class session is $90 (see The Newburgh Project — Session). Scholarships are available — apply at newburghcreates.com.
