Description
NGA Discovery Labs are a unique opportunity for students in grades 2-8 to step into the NextGen Academy experience - an exciting, hands-on introduction to what a meaningful education can look like.
Over four afternoons, participants will engage in Circuit Breakers, where students will build their very own mechanical keyboards from scratch. They'll learn QMK firmware, test circuit boards, wire switches, and write code to bring their creations to life. Students will work with real engineering tools, all while collaborating with peers and using cutting-edge tools to create something they can actually use at home or in school.
This special edition of Discovery Labs serves as an enhanced Shadow Day, offering students who are considering enrollment a chance to experience the NextGen Academy approach firsthand and see what makes our learners different!
