Description
Operation "RISE 9" is a FREE 2- Week intensive Summer Camp for Rising 9th Grade students -Current 8th Graders ONLY. This camp engages students, parents, and the community to increase educational, social, and preparedness for High School for rising 9th graders. Operation "RISE 9" offers 2 weeks of academic (Math, Science, ELA), and enrichment programs for rising 9th Graders. The 2 week camp includes weekly visits to their feeder High School (Ragsdale) to meet the principal, tour the school, and complete student service activities with counselors, teachers, and academic advisors on Thursdays. The camp operates Monday - Thursday starting on Monday June 17th, 2024 - Thursday, June 28th, 2024 from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Wednesday, and 8:30 am - 4:00 pm on Thursday due to ALL day field trips (High school visit in the morning, and a fun field trip activity in the afternoon). Spots are limited to 35 students.
