Description
This activity is only for students who attend Clinton Young. Esta actividad es solo para estudiantes que asisten a Clinton Young.
3rd & 4th grade girls are invited to join us in six weeks of developmental basketball practice! This cost-free activity is a great opportunity for young players to learn about kickball and sportsmanship. The team will be invited to play in a round-robin Showcase at the end of the season, and families are encouraged to come spectate and celebrate their students' growth.
Through Playworks' developmental sports leagues, trained Playworks Coaches, based in partner schools full time during the school year, implement a social/emotional skills focused curriculum in after school sports leagues for third and fourth graders four times a year. Students can sign up to participate at no cost, providing the opportunity to learn and participate in a team environment with soccer, flag football, girls basketball, and kickball. Playworks Leagues (All IN Sports) are non-competitive in order to focus on building skills in a given sport so students can gain confidence and experience a positive team environment with their peers.
