About ProjectArt
ProjectArt’s free classes run from September - May. Materials are provided for all students ages 4-18. Local, professional artists teach classes aligned with the National Arts Education Association standards and are informed by the teaching artist's personal artistic practice. ProjectArt classes are fun, imaginative and cultivate a love of learning.
Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year. Registration is required in advance, and space is limited.

Current Class Project:
Fabrics and Fibers
This is a 4 week project starting the week of March 31st and ending the week of April 21st
This chapter will give students the opportunity to explore new means of self-expression using fabric and fibers. We will experiment with 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional projects with textiles. From fabric self-portraits to mixed-media painted "Story Quilts" inspired by Faith Ringgold, to miniature 3D fashion creations, students will be challenged to find new ways to express their ideas with a material that can be challenging as well as inspiring.
