About ProjectArt
ProjectArt’s free classes run from September - May. Materials are provided for all students ages 4-18. Local, professional artists teach classes aligned with the National Arts Education Association standards and are informed by the teaching artist's personal artistic practice. ProjectArt classes are fun, imaginative and cultivate a love of learning.
Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year. Registration is required in advance, and space is limited.

Patterns
This is a 3 week project starting the week of Feb 24th and ending the week of March 23rd
In this unit, we will explore pattern-making and pattern-related art. We will look for and appreciate patterns in nature, patterns in traditional art practices, and patterns in math. Student will create pattern-based art inspired by natural forms, Indigenous art history, and geometric shapes.
