About ProjectArt
ProjectArt offers free art classes for students ages 4-18 throughout the school year, from September to May. Local, professional artists teach classes aligned with the National Arts Education Association standards and are informed by the teaching artist's personal artistic practice. ProjectArt classes are fun, imaginative, and cultivate a love of learning.
Materials are provided for all students. Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year.
Current Class Activity: We Love Our Library
We Love Our Library is a four-week project going from the week of March 31st through April 27th.
This project is dedicated to celebrating Lincoln Library and the community and resources that make it so great! Students will create coloring pages and bookmarks for patrons to enjoy, create painted rocks to decorate outdoor library spaces, work together on a collaborative mural project, and use library books as inspiration for the “Love Letter to a Book Project," a drawing or painting based on their favorite library book to be displayed in the library.
