Description
About ProjectArt
ProjectArt offers free art classes for students ages 4-18 throughout the school year, from September to May. Local, professional artists teach classes aligned with the National Arts Education Association standards and are informed by the teaching artist's personal artistic practice. ProjectArt classes are fun, imaginative, and cultivate a love of learning.
Materials are provided for all students. Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year if space allows.
Current Class Project: Paper and Book Making!
Paper and Book Making! is a four-week project running from the week of March 31st through April 27th.
Students will make paper from paper scraps! They will then use that paper in the construction of books. Lastly, students will write, illustrate, and design their books.
