Description
Description: The Threshold Singers of Washington, DC use gentle vocal music to offer comfort, connection, and support through meaningful life transitions, including bedside singing for individuals in hospice and community “song baths” that promote peace, grounding, and restoration.
In this special family wellness gathering, participants will learn about the Threshold Singers’ work, experience several of their songs, and be invited to sing along in simple harmonies. The evening will conclude with a restorative group song bath, with zero-gravity chairs arranged in a circle for participants to relax and receive the music. Volunteers may also take turns reclining at the center while singers offer gentle harmonies around them.
No musical experience is needed — just a willingness to listen, breathe, and receive.
Please only register if your family is able to attend. Space is limited, and when families register but do not come, it prevents another family from participating.
We understand that plans change. If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration or contact us as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another family.

The Threshold Singers of Washington, DC are a local chapter of Threshold Choir, an international organization that offers gentle, a cappella singing for people at meaningful life thresholds. Their singers bring comfort, connection, and moments of grace through bedside singing for individuals in hospice and other care settings, as well as community song experiences that invite peace, reflection, and restoration. Their music is non-religious and offered as a gift from the heart.
