Description

Course Description:

In this course, students will dive into the world of digital music creation, learning how to produce original tracks using industry‑standard tools and hands‑on audio engineering techniques. Young artists will explore beat‑making, sampling, sound design, recording, and mixing while developing confidence in their creative voice. Each session blends technical skill‑building with artistic exploration, giving students the space to experiment, collaborate, and express themselves through sound.

Anacostia Creates Connection:

This Course Supports the Anacostia theme by guiding students to produce a track inspired by a personal memory, landmark, or experience connected to Anacostia. Through these activities, students learn to see themselves as contributors to the artistic identity of their community.
