Project Optimism Mentoring Sessions (POMS) is a school-based mentoring and engagement program designed to help students in grades 4–12 connect, grow, and thrive!
Through positive mentoring relationships, engaging activities, social-emotional skill-building, and meaningful connections with peers and trusted adults, POMS creates a supportive space where students can build confidence, strengthen important life skills, navigate challenges, and feel more connected to their school community.
At POMS, we believe every student should have opportunities to discover their strengths, find their voice, build positive relationships, and feel a strong sense of belonging. By partnering with students, families, and schools, POMS helps create an encouraging school experience where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed in school and beyond!
