Description
The goal of the Kids Cooking Academy with Lift Enrichment is to introduce students to the joy of cooking while teaching them important life skills. Students will:
- Learn how to prepare simple, healthy, and tasty recipes.
- Practice kitchen safety and proper food handling.
- Build confidence by following step-by-step cooking instructions.
- Explore nutrition basics and the benefits of balanced meals.
- Develop teamwork, responsibility, and creativity in the kitchen.
By the end of the program, students will gain the knowledge and skills to make healthy food choices and prepare meals they can share with their families.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This class starts at 3:45 pm. If your child is not in the after-school program, they would need to be picked up after school and brought back at 3:45 pm at the gate near the library.
