At Ridgemoor, we believe ELOP is for everyone: a place where all students can benefit from enriching, engaging, and supportive learning experiences beyond the regular school day. Our ELOP offerings include academic support, enrichment activities, and social-emotional learning designed to support the whole child and foster a love for learning in a safe, welcoming environment.
While we aim to serve as many students as possible, it is important to note that California law requires priority access be given to students who are experiencing homelessness, in foster care, or eligible for free or reduced-price meals. We honor this requirement as part of our commitment to equity and access for all learners. ELOP is 100% free for all participants.
Our ELOP program is built to uplift every child and we welcome all families to apply and explore the opportunities available. Please note: a majority of courses are lead by credentialed staff from companies outsources through MUSD such as the Boys and Girls Club. However all programs do take place on campus at Ridgemoor daily.
Pick-up window is exactly between 3:50-4:00 or 4:50-5:00pm without exception. Attached calendar identifies target days ELOP will likely be offered for the 2025-2026 school year.

Description
New for 2025: Students will NOT select individual courses and instead will engage in more structured activities throughout the week on a rotating basis.
Our K–5th grade after-school class is a free and fun learning opportunity open to all students, with priority access given to students who qualify for ELOP (Expanded Learning Opportunities Program). We follow a strict 1:20 ratio for 1st-5th grade students and a 1:10 ratio for TK/K.
Students will enjoy a safe, supportive environment with activities that support learning, creativity, and social development.
Pick-up/Release Times:
- First extended pick-up window: 3:50–4:00 PM
- Final pick-up window: 4:50–5:00 PM
To help with smooth transitions, we ask families to pick up during one of the listed time slots.
