Roadrunner Rise and Shine Club

This session is exclusively for any before school program(s) that might exist at RES as we consider expanding campus opening for students and families who are need of extended coverage.

Drop off at front office for students who become enrolled (meaning accepted as enrolled by admin based on application review) is exclusively at 7:00-7:05am. We will NOT take any late arrivals.

This is designed to try and support parents who truly have difficulty with timing of our gates opening at 7:30am

Please know these programs may not last the duration of the year as we must prioritize our ELO-P budgeting to the after school portions of the schedule.

This program and all morning programs will be run via the ELO-P (expanded learning opportunities program).

For California ELO-P, unduplicated pupils are still the statutory priority population for enrollment when demand exceeds capacity and we are highly limited on capacity we are able to take into the program.

The priority categories are:

  • English learners
  • Students eligible for free/reduced-price meals
  • Foster youth
  • Homeless youth

As is the case for all ELO-P programs; this form and all forms are applications and students are not accepted until applications are reviewed and processed based on space we have in our program.

ELO-P follows a separate behavioral expectation protocol which is found on our ELO-P webpage here: https://sites.google.com/menifeeusd.org/btc23/beyond-the-classroom/policies-and-procedures

Description

This activity is our Roadrunner Rise and Shine Club and is designed to offer families an earlier drop-off time before our opening gate bell at 7:30am. ☀️

Drop off at front office for students who become enrolled (meaning accepted as enrolled by admin based on application review) is exclusively at 7:00-7:05am. We will NOT take any late arrivals.

This program and all morning programs will be run via the ELO-P (expanded learning opportunities program).

For California ELO-P, unduplicated pupils are the statutory priority population for enrollment when demand exceeds capacity and we are highly limited on capacity we are able to take into the program due to staffing hours available.

The priority categories for unduplicated status are:

  • English learners
  • Students eligible for free/reduced-price meals
  • Foster youth
  • Homeless youth

As is the case for all ELO-P programs; this form and all forms are applications and students are not accepted until applications are reviewed and processed based on space we have in our program. All applications are timestamped at the time they are submitted.

ELO-P follows a separate behavioral expectation protocol which is found on our ELO-P webpage here: https://sites.google.com/menifeeusd.org/btc23/beyond-the-classroom/policies-and-procedures

After applying, admin will reach out if there is space for acceptance into this pilot program. Please note that while we do intend for this program to last the duration of the year, we cannot guarantee that it will take place for any period of time given that we are beyond our normal budgeting.
