Description

Description: Students in the summer Introduction to Songwriting & Recording class will learn the basics of digital music production and multimedia with an emphasis on original song-writing. Students will write their own original music, record with instruments and microphones, use software to edit their music, and more. No prior music experience required.


This class is for: Students in 7th to 12th grade with no prior music experience. This class is geared toward new students who have not taken RAA music classes before.


Requirements: Students must provide a laptop or chromebook, no instruments required.



Cost: Riverside residents (92501-92508) may qualify for free tuition. Proof of residence and income verification required. Those who do not qualify for free tuition will pay $70 for one student and $50 for each additional student.


*Each class must have a 10-student minimum in order to stay open. Classes are subject to close based on low enrollment numbers & at the discretion of RAA.

Ends: Friday, July 21, 2023

We will meet from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM every Mon, Wed, & Fri starting on 6/26/2023 and ending on 7/21/2023

We will not meet on the following dates: 7/4/2023
