Invite Only (student request):

Our After School Book Club, led by Ms. Flores, will have students reading engaging books, participating in fun discussions, and completing creative activities connected to the stories. Students will work on important reading skills such as asking and answering questions, determining the main idea and key details, describing characters and how they change, and using text evidence to support their thinking.

This club also supports students in building strong vocabulary, improving reading fluency, and practicing respectful conversation skills as they share ideas with peers. Book Club is a great way to build a love of reading while strengthening key literacy standards in a fun and supportive setting!

Standards Supported (Grades 3–5 Reading):
