You have an opportunity to be part of a cool program being offered by the University of Miami!

Why should you do this!
It's fun!
Are you planning on attending college? The best schools are competitive, and having extra curricular activities like this help you stand out in the crowd. EVEN if your major isn’t marine science related, it helps show you are engaged in community issues.
This is a hands on program! You will need to attend 3 virtual meetings and then develop a plan to share what you learned with and engage with your community.
But hurry! The last day to register is June 20th - DO NOT WAIT!

NEW Rescue a Reef Ambassador Program!
Are you passionate about the ocean and ready to make a difference?
We’re excited to launch the Rescue a Reef Ambassador Program, and registration is now open for 2025!
This is your opportunity to become a community leader in coral conservation! Our Ambassador Training Program is designed to give you the opportunity to build your knowledge and connect with others who are passionate about protecting our reefs. Through themed monthly sessions covering coral conservation and ocean advocacy, ambassadors will gain the knowledge and skills needed to become coral champions!
Participants will be given the opportunity to participate in free workshops, trainings, and activities! All trainings will be hosted virtually, and optional events may be virtual, or in person locally in Miami! To become a Rescue a Reef Ambassador, participants are required to attend one virtual training per month on the following topics:
Part I: Coral Ecology & Restoration
Part II: SEAFAN BleachWatch & Coral Health
Part III: Science Communication & Ocean Advocacy
