2026-2027 ELO-P Kinder Later Gator Program

Description

The Kinder KELP Later Gators Program provides supervised expanded learning support for kindergarten students during the morning.

Students enrolled in Later Gators will participate in age-appropriate activities and supervised programming from 7:30 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.

Important Program Information

Families are responsible for ensuring their student arrives at the designated KELP meeting location beginning at 7:30 a.m.

At 9:20 a.m., students will transition from the Kinder KELP Later Gators Program to their regular kindergarten school day.

Registration for Kinder KELP Later Gators does not automatically enroll your student in the Kinder After-School Program.

Families interested in the Kinder After-School Program will have an opportunity to indicate their interest during registration. Selecting that you are interested does not guarantee enrollment or reserve a space. Families will receive separate confirmation if their student is enrolled in the Kinder After-School Program.

Minimum Days

There is no Kinder KELP Later Gators Program on Wednesdays or other district minimum days scheduled throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

Families are responsible for following the regular kindergarten minimum-day schedule on these days.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

• Keeping emergency contact and authorized pick-up information current.
• Providing important health, allergy, medication, or safety information that staff should be aware of.
• Reviewing the Parent Orientation Packet provided before participation.
• Following all program arrival, dismissal, and school procedures.
• Ensuring their student arrives during the designated Kinder KELP Later Gators program time.

The information collected during registration helps our staff provide a safe, organized, and supportive environment for all students.
