Band Jam
SoLa Foundation offers accessible educational programming for students in grades 3–12, as well as adult programming for individuals ages 18+. Our programs provide hands-on learning, career exploration, workforce development, and skill-building opportunities across technology, arts, entrepreneurship, and other growing industries.

Description
A loosely structured class designed to introduce students to the world of music and how they can become part of it. Students explore different instruments, discover their individual strengths, and build a foundation for future musical growth.
What students will learn:
- Exposure to a variety of instruments and musical roles
- Basic music fundamentals and ensemble playing
- How to identify personal strengths and interests within music
- Teamwork and collaboration through group play
- Confidence-building through creative exploration
By the end of the course, students will have a broader understanding of the world of music and a clearer sense of how they can continue to grow and participate in it.
