Description
In this hands-on class, elementary students will step into the world of animation by creating their very own clay characters and short claymation films. Students will learn how to sculpt figures from clay, build simple sets, and use basic stop-motion animation techniques to make their characters move, talk, and tell a story.
Working in small groups, students will explore storytelling, character design, and creativity while learning how animators bring ideas to life frame by frame. By the end of the class, each student will help create a short animated scene using their clay characters and imagination.
This fun and interactive class encourages creativity, patience, teamwork, and problem-solving while introducing students to the exciting world of animation and digital storytelling.
