Description
This class introduces students to the fundamentals of fine art through hands-on exploration of mixed media, oil pastels, and collage. Students build essential artistic skills while discovering their own creative voice.
What students will learn:
- Core drawing and composition techniques
- Color theory and blending with oil pastels
- Collage-making and mixed media layering
- How to experiment with texture, materials, and visual storytelling
- Critique and revision as part of the creative process
By the end of the course, students will have built a foundation in fine arts fundamentals and created a body of original work spanning multiple mediums.
