This 12-week intensive cohort program is designed to immerse students in the dynamic intersection of animation and artificial intelligence (AI). Through a comprehensive curriculum divided into three distinct phases, participants will gain foundational knowledge, specialized training, and hands-on project experience, preparing them for roles in the animation and entertainment industries.

Phase One: Introduction to Animation and AI (Week 1-3)

Goal: Introduce students to the Animation Industry and provide foundational knowledge of AI technology.

In the first phase, students will delve into the basics of animation, exploring its history, principles, and techniques. Concurrently, they will receive an introduction to AI, understanding its core concepts and applications in animation. The ethical implications of AI in the entertainment industry will also be examined, fostering a responsible approach to technology integration.

Topics Covered:

History and principles of animation

Basics of 2D and 3D animation

Fundamentals of AI and its applications in animation

Ethical considerations in AI development and use

Phase Two: Role-Specific Training (Week 4-7)

Goal: Provide role-specific training focused on content creation and project management.

The second phase focuses on equipping students with in-depth skills necessary for content creation and project management in animation. Students will engage in hands-on activities, learning the entire process of animation production from concept development to final execution. Additionally, they will acquire project management skills, essential for overseeing animation projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Phase Three: Project-Based Learning (Week 8-12)

Goal: Facilitate team-based project development with instructor and mentor support.

In the final phase, students will form project teams and apply their acquired knowledge to develop a comprehensive animation project. Guided by instructors and mentors, they will navigate the challenges of project development, refining their work through iterative feedback. The program culminates in a final presentation, showcasing their projects to peers and industry professionals.
