Description

This class introduces students to the art and technique of photography, teaching them how to see the world through a creative lens. Students explore composition, lighting, and storytelling while building a strong foundation in both technical skills and artistic vision.


What students will learn:

  • Camera basics: exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO
  • Composition techniques for compelling images
  • Lighting fundamentals for indoor and outdoor shoots
  • Editing basics using photo editing software
  • Visual storytelling and building a cohesive portfolio
  • Critique and revision as part of the creative process


By the end of the course, students will have developed a personal portfolio of original photographs and a solid foundation in photographic technique and artistic expression.
