Welcome to Rocket League Esports! In this class Students will be learning about the Esports Industry through the lens of Rocket League. This game turns the traditional sport of Soccer on its head by turning the field into a 3v3 style game where students will be driving cars in order to score into their opponents net.

What is Esports?

Esports is a term we use to describe Digital Sports, or Video Games that you play competitively. Just like traditional sports like Soccer, Football or Baseball, Esports allows students to play their favorite games against students their age while practicing many of the same skills in traditional sports such as Team Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Leadership.

SoLa Foundation is working to end intergenerational poverty in South Los Angeles by providing quality STEAM education courses with top industry software and instruction at a low cost that prepares students for thriving careers. By registering to our courses, students and families commit to being in attendance for the course duration and commit to remaining engaged in all projects and skills-learning.
