Description

JOIN THE SECOND SPRING COMEDY CLUB COHORT! 4/30-06/04 (Showcase dates TBD)
If you missed it the first time, here is your chance to join today! Priority will be given to Mentees who were not able to sign up for the first session.
Transportation is offered for the 2nd cohort.
This engaging youth comedy and improv class introduces Mentees to the fundamentals of improvisation, sketch comedy, and comedic storytelling in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Activities include:
- interactive games,
- group scenes, and
- guided practice.
Mentees will learn how to think on their feet, collaborate with peers, and express themselves creatively.
The class culminates in a live showcase where students perform for family and friends, celebrating their growth and confidence on stage. (Showcase will take place at The Howling Wolf in June after the class ends. Exact date and time are TBD.)
Benefits of Participation:
- Builds confidence and public speaking skills
- Strengthens communication, teamwork, and active listening
- Encourages creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving
- Provides a safe space for self-expression and positive risk-taking
- Fosters social connection and joy through laughter
No prior experience is required—just a willingness to participate, try new things, and have fun.
