Description
The TeenWorks Summer program provides paid work-learn experiences, professional and life skills training, and career and college exploration to under-served teens in Marion County that aspire to post-secondary success and career readiness.
Participants in the program are employed four days per week at a community-based nonprofit or business in teams of 10-13, with one day per week reserved for professional development training in a classroom-style setting to include lessons on financial literacy, interviewing skills, resume building, and soft professional skills, such as how to dress professionally and workplace communication.
