Description
The Gurl Code Summer Camp
- Duration: 4 weeks
- Age Group: Young girls interested in STEM (6 - 18)
- Location: 40 E. St. Clair St. (Central Library)
- Daily Schedule: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (drop-off between 11 am and 11:15 am)
Weekly Focus:
- Week 1: Creative Media, Motion, and Introduction to Coding
- Week 2: Gravity, Speed, Impact, Digital Creativity & Illustrations
- Week 3: Robotics, Gadget Building, Gaming Concepts & Publishing Preparation
- Week 4: Applied Engineering, Robotics, Websites, Online Safety & Publishing
Additional Features:
- Snacks provided.
- Daily Reflections: Discussions to enhance learning and address challenges.
