Description
The Academic Mentoring Program caters to a wide range of students' needs. What we do is pair mentors which are vetted volunteers with a wide range of expertise, with teens based on the teens needs. What the mentors provide varies; there are some that provide more traditional tutoring for core topics like math, english, history, etc. Also there are mentors who provide support for punctuality, organizational skills, emotional needs (ie. test taking anxiety), career exploration and more. There's so much to being a part of the Academic Mentoring Program and is also an entry point for becoming more involved at The Launch Pad with all the other programs we provide.
