Description
The Launch Pad's Fall 2026 Adventure Trip will keep the camping close to home and base at White Spar Campground here in the Prescott National Forest. We're excited to explore more of Prescott! This includes the High Ropes Challenge at Chapel Rock, hiking premier single-track and learning more about local flora and fauna, a field trip to the Middle Place Ranch in Williamson Valley for fishing and swimming, a field trip to West Clear Creek on the edge of Camp Verde, guest instructors to demo primitive living skills, and More!
*If registering for the first time, please complete the registration form in it’s entirety, paying close attention to any allergies and medications we should be aware of. If you are a returning user, please revise your registration information as necessary.
Please review the Adventure Trip gear list below. We will email participants with the following gear list, in addition to other updates, as we get closer to the event.
If you do not have access to items on the list, please let us know by contacting jai@thelaunchpadteencenter.org and we will work to establish a solution.
Do your best to PACK LIGHTLY!:
❏ Overnight bag (large duffle or 50-70L backpack)
❏ Supportive closed-toe running shoes, or hiking footwear
❏ Additional pair of sandals or crocks (comfort in camp!)
❏ 1 Pair swim shoes
❏ Small day pack
❏ Sleeping bag (15-20 degree rating with a working zipper)
❏ Sleeping Pad
❏ Headlamp with batteries (AAA)
❏ 2 32oz water bottles
❏ 1 Swimsuit
❏ 1 Sunhat or ballcap, sunscreen, sunglasses
❏ 1 Puff jacket (Warm outer layer),
❏ 2 Warm mid layers
❏ 1 Warm hat
❏ 3 Pairs of socks (one pair wool)
❏ 2 Pairs of pants
❏ 3 Shirts (1 long sleeve)
❏ 1 Pair of Shorts
❏ 5 Undergarments
❏ 1 Pair long underwear, top and bottom (primarily for sleeping)
❏ Feminine Hygiene products (as necessary)
❏ Bowl, utensils (spoon and fork), and mug or cup for hot drinks
❏ Toothbrush & toothpaste (any other toiletries needed, deodorant, etc.)
❏ Personal medications (Prescription meds will be monitored by TLP staff)
❏ * Rain Gear (Stay tuned prior to departure!)
