Description
Project Launch is a 3 session workforce development workshop for teens who are interested in preparing for future employment. This workshop covers resume writing, interviewing, teamwork, financial literacy, elevator pitch, confidence building and networking in the community. Attending Project Launch will give you the experience of nailing a mock interview, building a resume, making connections with peers and potential employers, and having a lot of fun!
Teens who are interested in applying for the 6 month paid apprenticeship position in The Moon Cafe must complete the 3 day Project Launch Workshop, as well as Brew to Crew Club, prior to applying.
The cost of Project Launch is $152. Once you apply and are accepted, you will be sent a payment link. You may choose to pay through the link or you may choose to pay later (for example, send a check or cash with your teen to the first day of the workshop). This pay later option also gives you the chance to request a scholarship and determine what you can pay, paying that chosen amount prior to or on the first day of the workshop.
