Description
OASIS Kids is a weekly Christian youth program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. It is a place where children can belong, have fun, enjoy a free meal, and build positive relationships with caring adults and other students.
During approximately 32 club gatherings throughout the program year, students participate in age-appropriate chapel gatherings, structured recreation, hands-on STEM activities, creative projects, crafts, games, and small-group conversations. Activities rotate throughout the year, giving children opportunities to explore new interests, solve problems, use their creativity, practice teamwork, and build confidence.
Through Bible stories, prayer, Scripture learning, and relationships with caring mentors, students are introduced to the Gospel and encouraged to grow in their relationship with God. OASIS Kids also strengthens important social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, communication, cooperation, healthy decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Students can also participate in one special event each semester and an end-of-year STEM camp experience. Eligibility for special opportunities is earned through consistent attendance, active participation, respectful behavior, and following program safety expectations.
Our desire is for every child to feel known, loved, supported, and challenged as we guide them toward their True Life in Christ.
