Description
The STEM After-School Learning Lab at True Life Youth Ministries is a structured, supportive after-school program designed to help third-grade students in Lebanon City grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Serving up to 25 students from Lebanon School District, the Learning Lab meets Tuesday through Thursday and provides a consistent, safe environment where kids can focus, learn, and thrive after the school day ends.
Each afternoon, students receive a healthy meal, followed by guided reading time and homework help led by caring, trained adults. In addition to academic support, students are introduced to hands-on STEM learning activities that spark curiosity, build problem-solving skills, and encourage creativity through age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, and math experiences.
The STEM Learning Lab is intentionally designed to combine academic reinforcement, enrichment, and relational support, helping students build confidence in their learning while developing positive routines and a love for discovery. Our goal is not only to support students where they are, but to inspire them toward future growth and success.
