Description

Want to learn how to create videos, tell stories, and make your voice heard?

YP Voices is a paid 6-week program for teens ages 14-18 who attend school in Downtown Pittsburgh or spend time downtown after school. Participants will learn photography, videography, interviewing, digital storytelling, and advocacy skills while exploring issues that matter to young people in Pittsburgh.

Youth will work together to create original media content and contribute to a documentary project called Through Our Eyes: Downtown Pittsburgh, sharing their experiences, perspectives, and ideas for positive change.

The program ends with a community showcase where participants will premiere their work and engage with community leaders and stakeholders.
