Alpha Schools begin with three simple commitments: your child will love school, learn twice as fast in two hours a day, and develop real-world skills that last a lifetime.

Alpha is reimagining education with AI-powered, mastery-based learning designed to unleash every child’s potential — not someday, but right now. The Alpha School day is divided into two segments: academics and workshops.

• When it comes to academics, Alpha students:
• Complete Common Core academics in two hours a day.
• Receive personalized learning in every subject.
• Progress twice as fast as their peers in traditional schools.
• Learn academics from AI tutors that adapt to the right level of difficulty (i.e., “the zone of proximal development”: when a student is challenged enough to grow but knowledgeable enough to reach mastery).

The results are undeniable. Alpha classrooms consistently rank in the top 1-2% in the nation. But that’s not even the best part. Because students crush academics in just two hours a day, they get their time back. And what do they do with all that time?

Afternoons at Alpha are spent in life skill workshops. Students develop skills in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, storytelling, leadership, critical thinking, and so much more. They accomplish challenging tasks that fuel resilience, risk-taking, and real-world readiness. Again, the results speak for themselves. These aren’t casual after-school electives — students launch profitable businesses, run food trucks, produce documentaries, and deliver TEDx talks before they even turn 18. The goal? Build skills that last a lifetime.

Finally, Alpha teachers. Our teachers consist of ex-entrepreneurs, ex-NBA coaches, former NFL players, Ivy League grads, and yes, former traditional teachers. We call our teachers “guides,” because that’s exactly what they do. While students receive personalized academic instruction from AI-powered tutors, our guides are free to do what they’re best at: motivating and emotionally supporting the next generation.

What does this look like?

Instead of passively delivering information at the front of the class, guides move about the room and work with students one-on-one, or in small group settings. They coach, mentor, and support students. It is both personal and personalized. With this model, Alpha teachers finally have the time to make the impact they’ve always dreamed of. They know every student deeply, combining high expectations with high support, challenging them to go beyond what they thought possible while providing encouragement and the tools needed to succeed. Each year, we survey our students:

• For younger students, nearly 100% say they love their guide.
• For older students, 80% say their guide is one of the most influential people in their lives.
