We are excited to partner with the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services to offer the after-school program for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. By completing this registration process, you are applying for your student to join the Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio after-school program at their SAISD campus.

The Boys & Girls Club program is designed to give students a welcoming, safe, and supportive place to spend time after school. Students will have opportunities for homework help, STEM activities, recreation, and other fun, engaging experiences while being supervised by caring staff. Through this partnership, SAISD also supports City of San Antonio goals related to reading achievement, attendance, and promotion to the next grade level.

To help your student enjoy the full benefits of the program, we ask that students attend regularly during the 2026–2027 school year and stay until at least 4:30 p.m. each day.

Because program space is limited, we encourage families to send in all required registration materials as soon as they can. Families who submit complete materials first will receive priority consideration.

To apply for the Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio after-school program, please complete the City of San Antonio (COSA) form and email it, along with proof of income, to mbrettmann@begreatsa.org.

After you send in the COSA form, please complete the online registration. Your documents and online registration must be received before your student can be considered for the Boys & Girls Club program. To help us process your application quickly, please make sure the COSA form is complete before submitting it.

For proof of income, please send one of the following documents:

1. A 2025 tax return that lists the student as a dependent.

OR

2. A current Medicaid or CHIP letter or card that includes the student’s name and an expiration date.

Please keep in mind that expired cards, expired letters, or documents without an expiration date cannot be accepted.

Once your materials have been reviewed and confirmed, you will receive an email with the next steps to complete registration in AfterSchool HQ and submit payment. If your family qualifies for a reduced program fee, the email will also include a coupon code to use at checkout.
