Description
The Freedom School After-School Program provides scholars with a safe, engaging, and culturally affirming space to learn, grow, and build community beyond the traditional school day. Rooted in the Freedom School model, the program combines academic enrichment, literacy, leadership development, social-emotional learning, recreation, and character building to support the whole child.
Scholars participate in meaningful activities designed to strengthen confidence, encourage a love of reading and learning, develop positive relationships, and empower young people to become leaders in their schools and communities. Through caring staff, interactive lessons, enrichment opportunities, and family engagement, Freedom School creates an environment where every scholar feels seen, supported, challenged, and celebrated.
