Our mission is to transform the time between 3 and 6pm for students across America. We seek to increase afterschool participation because it leads to higher performing, mentally healthy students who go on to graduate high school and college at higher rates. Our software is currently being used by IPS to track the impact of afterschool programs on student performance in school as well as other societal factors such as reduced juvenile crime rates.

We have provided software to improve afterschool since 2013.

Parents will be able to do the following:

  • Parents can discover all programs offered at their school on one web site

  • Register with one account (forever)

  • Registration checkout with a few clicks

  • Pay online or save payment for next time

  • Receive text and/or email notifications about child attendance, pick up times, etc.

  • View upcoming schedule for all children

  • Manage registrations through the parent dashboard

By registering for your child’s activities with AfterSchool HQ, you are gaining the convenience of registration at any time using your phone or computer. When you no longer have to wait to receive flyers from children or worry about lost papers, all you have to do is follow the school link and hit ‘register’ on the program that interests you.

After a quick, one-time account setup, you will be set to register each of your children for new activities without re-entering their information. After that, all you have to do is decide whether you want to pay with a credit card or ACH, and you’re set! No more sending money to school with your student in an envelope.

If registering for an activity with a credit card, our payment processor will charge a transaction fee. To avoid this fee, you can pay via ACH.

All transactions include a fee to support afterschool programming at your school or organization.

The afterschool support fee enables your school to make afterschool activities more accessible through activity homepages, easy registration, and online payment collection.

To obtain a refund, navigate to the “Activities” tab on the left sidebar of your dashboard. Click the dropdown button on the activity you’d like a refund on, and click “Select Refund.” This will submit your refund request to the activity provider. Your ability to cancel an enrollment or obtain refund credits is determined by the activity provider.

If a refund request is sent within 48 hours and granted, you are able to get up to 100% of your activity payment back, excluding the nonrefundable credit card transaction fee. If a refund request is submitted after 48 hours, you are able not to get the Afterschool Program Support Fee refunded.
