Description
The Gold Star Youth Mentorship Program (GSYMP) offers hope and support to children who have lost a parent or sibling due to military service. By pairing these young people with experienced military mentors, the program provides a nurturing environment where they can grow, heal, and achieve their full potential. With a focus on positive youth development, GSYMP helps build strong, resilient futures.
Program Overview:
- Saturday's from April 18th - May 30th
- 2 Peer to Peer Meetups
- Memorial Day 5K: May 26th
- Heroes Hike: May 30th
YOUTH REQUIREMENTS:
- K-12th grade, who lost a parent or sibling due to their military service.
- Complete a pre and post assessment
- All abilities are welcome.
