Description

Young Kings Academy is a practical session that helps our young men build confidence and character in every area of life, co-led by mentees. With mentors alongside them, mentee co-leaders will guide their peers in exploring four areas: presence, communication, professionalism, and accountability. Through guided discussion and rotating experiential learning stations, mentees will examine how they carry themselves and make a positive first impression, practice speaking with confidence and listening with intent, understand the expectations they'll face in school, work, and the real world, and learn what it means to take ownership of their actions and follow through on their word. The goal is for each young man to move from simply participating to fully owning his place in the program.

For 100 Black Men mentees in grades 6 through 12.

Part 2 of the program continues on 11/14/2026.
